Hangar solutions for fully automatic drone flight

In the Exabotix hangar, drones are always ready for action - 365 days 24/7

The hangar developed by Exabotix is the air-conditioned home port for year-round use of one or more drones: Here, batteries are charged and captured data is transmitted from drone. An integrated weather station checks the flying weather. From the open flight deck, the drones start their predetermined fully automatic and autonomous flight. An actively controlled mission is also possible by remote control. The drone is safely stored in the closed hangar between missions.

Discover the advantages of a drone hangar

Autonomous: automated drone flights

With the drone hangar, recurring fully automatic flights become a reality - at the push of a button and without an active pilot. Select a route and determine how often a flight should be performed. The technology in the hangar means the drone is always ready for action and, depending on the payload, you automatically receive the high-precision mission data at the end of each mission.

Air conditioned: independent of wind and weather

To ensure that the drones are ready for operation at all times, the hangar is air-conditioned to operating temperature all year round. An integrated weather station monitors the flying weather: The drones can operate in wind forces of up to 5, they are protected against light rain and fly in outside temperatures of -15 to +35 degrees Celsius.

Networked: full fleet control from afar

The drone hangar itself is fully networked and the respective mission status can be directly controlled via cameras. Via an Internet connection, the drones receive their mission commands directly from your office and feed the collected data and image information into your systems, depending on the payload.

Flexible: more options for your requirements

The operating range of a drone is highly variable and is up to 70 km around the hangar - depending on the payload, battery capacity, weather and flight speed. Flights controlled via LTE networks result in a particularly long range. Multiple drones can be operational in the hangar via the optional magazine module. It is also possible to have the drone fly from one hangar to the next, covering further distances in sections.

Safe: robust design and smart features

The hangar is made of high quality aluminum and sandwich panels and offers highest and durable safety for the drones and their operational readiness. Optionally, all hangar models can be equipped with a fire extinguishing system and a webcam.

"We perform monitoring tasks with a whole new level of efficiency and always have up-to-date information."
Gerd J., coordinator for plant monitoring at a manufacturing company in southern Germany
"The drones fly fully automatically and perform their tasks autonomously - for us, this is a huge gain in productivity."
